🌳 What to Expect 🌳
We will be planting native trees at Mercer Arboretum to create shade, support wildlife, and enhance the beauty of the park. All planting equipment will be provided. Volunteers, please make sure you've also completed and signed the waiver, as you will not be allowed to participate unless they have done so. You do not have to bring a printed waiver to the park. Please watch for my emails coming in the week before the event, as they will have all the necessary information regarding the event (parking, bathrooms, getting to the site, what to bring, etc.). We look forward to making a difference with you!
🥾 What to Bring and Wear 🥾
Please bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated, sunscreen, snacks, and anything you need to spend time volunteering outside. We will bring some gloves, but we encourage you to bring your own pair.
Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, long-sleeved shirts, and pants that you do not mind getting dirty.
🚲 Parking Information & Meeting Location 🚗
We highly encourage alternate forms of transportation such as walking, biking, public transportation, carpooling, or ridesharing. There are no dedicated parking lots for this trail, and only street parking is available, which can be limited on Saturdays.
Once you arrive, please meet the LIvelihood and and the ATOTB teams at the tent where we will be checking in volunteers.
